RCA SU Societies Fair… during Fresher's Week
All RCA Societies UNITED at the annual Student Union Fairs. During the first week of the Autumn term new students were finding their feet around the College. As part of the welcome the Students Union orgnised two refreshers week ‘fairs’ where College groups, societies and activities could introduce themselves. The activities on display ranged from music and singing, yoga, jogging and discussion groups… This event was a brilliant opportunity for everyone to get to know each other and find out about the RCA societies. We joined in both of the fairs held at the Students' "Art Bar" Kensington and "Cafe Royale" Battersea. Members chatted with the students, compared notes and handed out lots of new “contact cards”... and our framed display offered a ‘bite of the apple’ !

RCA Show Fashion 2015
Graduating fashion students kicked the season off and presented their eagerly anticipated final year collections of Menswear, Womenswear, Knitwear and Milinery to a mixed audience of manufacturers, buyers, press and students of fashion. The Royal College of Art has been named the world’s leading university of Art and Design in the 2015 QS World University Rankings. The RCA leads in art and design over top-ranking universities including MIT in Cambridge, MA, and Rhode Island School of Design. Dr Paul Thompson, Rector of the Royal College of Art said: “We are delighted to be recognised as the world’s top university for Art and Design. The RCA is highly selective, taking only the most talented artists and designers. Those students go on to transform the world – in fine art, fashion, automotive design and engineering.
