Dialectical Materialism: Aspects of British Sculpture since the 1960s offers a glimpse into the shifting terrain of British sculpture over the last fifty years. Conceived by Karsten Schubert, the show brings together a group of six groundbreaking sculptors: Anthony Caro, William Turnbull, Barry Flanagan, Richard Long, Alison Wilding and Rachel Whiteread.
Coinciding with Frieze Week, Dialectical Materialism will be installed in a former Victorian riding school just 300 metres from Regent's Park and Frieze Masters. This selling exhibition will be accompanied by a catalogue with texts by Jonathan Vernon and Jon Wood and a pop-up Ridinghouse bookshop will be on-site.
