film Hi-Def Moon
Goddamn it, it looks good. The rather wonderful Supercollider science site is running its first live event, a gorgeous looking screening of the Japanese Space Agency's hi-def films of the moon (a first showing in this country). If that weren't enough (and it should be the stills are beautiful) there's a Q&A with a scientist to explain exactly what it is you're looking at, and it's absolutely free. More details should be forthcoming from their website , but this looks like the year's first no-brainer, I've-got-to-see-that event.
